Join local artist Jennifer Peart in the enchanting workshop, “Watercoloring the Wild: Mushroom Edition.” Immerse yourself in a whimsical 2.5-hour nature journaling journey that brings local mushrooms to life through vibrant watercolor art. Sip on some wine, enjoy the scenery, and let your creativity flow in an intimate and exclusive setting designed for maximum artistic enrichment.

In this workshop, you’ll explore the delicate details of mushrooms and foliage, learning to sketch and paint these wonders of nature under Jennifer’s guidance. All the art goodies are provided – paint palettes, premium-quality watercolor paint, brushes, and reference materials. You won’t need to bring a thing, but feel free to bring your favorite painting supplies if you wish.

As a delightful bonus, take home a charming watercolor kit made from upcycled mint tins, ensuring the magic lives on beyond the workshop. Class Details:

  • The class and the demonstration will offer an intimate and exclusive experience, designed to provide participants with the highest level of artistic enrichment.
  • The duration is estimated to be 2.5-3 hours, allowing participants to fully engage in the artistic process and take their time enjoying the scenery and wine.
  • All necessary class materials will be thoughtfully provided by the instructor. This includes water, cups, small watercolor paint palettes, premium-quality paint, brushes, paper towels, reference materials, pencils, erasers, etc.
  • Class participants will have the pleasure of taking home a watercolor kit and the nature journal pages they create during the classes.

Artist Bio:

Jennifer Peart is a Sacramento-based artist and arts educator. She has an art degree from Mills College, Oakland and a Master’s in Teaching from UCDavis. Contemporary landscape painting is her specialty. Nature, architecture, and science fiction are just some of the worlds that inspire her art practice.
