Welcome to the Ranch
Taste our flagship wines in a tasting room overlooking the pond. Sip and nosh in a real gold miner’s cave. Bring the team, the family, or the whole party. And keep an eye out for Clyde, our resident egret. He works the crowd.

EVENTS AT (AND FAR FROM) THE RANCH
Winemaker dinners. Fundraisers. Release parties. The calendar stays busy. And when you can’t get to the ranch, our CMR in the Wild series brings the wine to you.
Fantastic food. The best damn tasting room in the valley. Oh, and the wine? Incredible.
CAVE TASTING
Step off the terrace and into the mine with our Cave Tasting, a truly unique experience rooted in the rugged spirit of the Sierra Foothills. Carved long ago by miners searching for gold, the cave now offers an intimate setting to enjoy some of our finest handcrafted wines, surrounded by the same rock and earth that shaped this land’s past.
Guided one-on-one by a knowledgeable host, you’ll taste limited-production wines that reflect the minerality and strength of our volcanic soils, alongside stories that bring the history and legacy of Casino Mine Ranch to life. The cave’s cool, quiet ambiance creates a sense of discovery that’s less like a tasting and more like stepping into a story, one glass at a time.
Due to the exclusive nature of our Cave Tasting, members get first access. Pricing and availability upon request.
THE ESTATE CELLAR
A two-minute drive from the tasting room sits the estate cellar. A raw marble bar. A private host. The bottles we don’t pour every day.
Four to six guests. Two to three hours. Wines pulled straight from the racks around you, with the stories that earned them their spot.
Members get first call on dates. Everyone else gets on the list.
PRIVATE EVENTS
Birthdays. Rehearsal dinners. Retirements. Any occasion worth doing right.
Take over the terrace, the sycamore garden, or the lawn above the pond. We bring the wine, the food, and the folks who know how to host. You bring the reason.
Tell us what you’re celebrating. We’ll build the day around it.

“This is Gold Country. So there are all these great mineral deposits: Quartz that sparkles, and volcanic rock, and ash. And the wine caves—these are not Napa Valley caves—they are former mine caves, carved out of the hills.”
